Nepal SBI Bank becomes runners up at Ncell Beach Cricket Tournament(2011-03-13)

The Ncell Corporate Beach Cricket Tournament 2011, in association with Shangri-La Cricket Academy, was held in at the River Side Spring Resorts, Kurintar on Saturday 5th March, 2011. In the event Nepal SBI Bank Limited was the runner up. Electing to bat first, Nepal SBI scored 78 runs in 5 overs losing 5 wickets. Robert Shrestha scored highest for Nepal SBI with 25 runs, while Min Bahadur Gurung made 23 runs. In reply, Civil bank was able to the chase the target on 3.5 over losing 1 wicket.

Earlier, Nepal SBI Bank had defeated Kumari Bank, NMB Bank, Nabil Bank and CEDBL to reach to the final for consecutive second time.

Nepal SBI Bank wins the 12th Soaltee Super Sixes tournament(2010-10-27)

Nepal SBI Bank has won the Soaltee Crown Plaza Super Sixes Cricket Tournament this year. In the final contested on Saturday, 9th October 2010, Nepal SBI Bank defeated Standard Chartered Bank by 20 runs. Nepal SBI Bank remained undefeated throughout the tournament and it's captain Monish Kumar Shrestha was adjudged Player of the Series for his brilliant performances with both bat and ball during the tournament.
