Q.I am getting message "error on page" on the lower
left corner of login page after entering the username and
password.
This error occurs when your browser is not Java enabled. You
need to enable the Java Virtual Machine (JVM) in your browser
To enable the JVM in Internet Explorer:
1. Click the [Tools]=>[Internet
Options] menu in your Internet Explorer window. An
Internet Options dialog box is displayed
2. Click the [Advanced] tab in the dialog
box. A Settings group box displays a list of current browser
settings
3. Scroll through the list to view the Microsoft VM
settings
Note: Some systems may have JAVA
(SUN) option instead of Microsoft VM
? In the options list displayed under the Microsoft VM settings,
select the JIT Compiler for virtual machine enabled option
Note: If your system has JAVA (SUN)
settings, select the USE JRE 1.(X) option
5. Click [Apply]
6. Click [OK]
7. Restart your computer to apply the new settings
If you cannot view the Microsoft VM or JAVA(SUN)]settings
in the [Advanced] tab of the Internet Options
dialog box, then you need to:
? Download java jre from http://nepalsbi.com.np/downloads.php
? Run the setup file of javajre
Q.I am not able to login after entering the username
and password in mozilla(3.6 and above version) Browser.
A.This type of error occurs if jxpinstall.exe file is not
install on the PC.Please download jxpinstall.exe file from
http://nepalsbi.com.np/downloads.php and
install on the PC.
Q. I am not able to login with the user name and password
received from bank:
A. -Ebanking userid isn't case sensitive
but password is. So be sure you are logging in with the correct
userid and password.
- NepalSBI provided user name and passwords are for one time
usage only.
Q. What should I do after logging in:
A. When you log in for the first
time, the system will prompt you to change your username and
password. Username can be alpha-numeric and maximum 20 characters.
Your password should be minimum 6 characters and maximum 20
characters.
Q. I am getting message "invalid userid and password
combination"
A. This could be due to wrong userid
password combination used by you. Your password should be
minimum 6 characters and maximum 20 characters.You can use
any characters i.e. alpahanumeric or special characters. e.g.
prabin or prabin123
Q. I want to change my user name:
A. User name cannot be changed by the customer
or branch. Please ask your branch to register you again.
Q. I get the message invalid username and password
A. This might be because your branch has not yet activated your account. Please contact your branch for activating your account.
Q. I am viewing some one else's account accounts:
A. Please get in touch with your branch and ask them to remove wrong account and add your correct account.
Q. I have some more accounts which are not visible:
A. Please ask your branch to add your other accounts to your user name by going to option add account to user.
Q. I want to download Statement of my account:
A. Please go to enquiry and statement
of account.You can only view six months data on web.
Q. I am unable to do fund transfer :
A. This is because your branch has
not given you transaction rights.Please ask or write to your
branch to give you transaction rights.
Q. What is the limit for third party transfer:
A. The limit is for third party
transfer is Rs.10,000/- on net. Between two of your accounts
it can be unlimited.
Q. I want to transfer funds to other bank:
A. You cannot transfer funds to other bank
accounts at present.
