Mr Pratip Chaudhuri, 56 years, B.Sc. (Hons), MBA, joined State Bank of India as Probationary Officer in 1974. He took over charge as Dy Managing Director & Group Executive (International Banking), State Bank of India in April 2009.

Immediately prior to the present assignment, he was posted as Chief General Manager (Foreign Offices) at Corporate Centre, Mumbai.

During his illustrious career spanning 35 years in State Bank of India, he held several important positions viz. :
